We are a family-focused Church who meet together to enjoy contemporary worship and to study the Bible on Sunday mornings as well as during the week in a variety of daytime and evening home groups.  We believe that a living faith in Jesus Christ is relevant and meaningful in today's society, and it is our desire and joy to communicate this through our services and within our community.

A warm welcome awaits all who would like to come along to enjoy a church service or to explore the Christian faith.  The service starts at 10.30, and we aim to finish around 12 noon, with light refreshments served after the service.

We hope that here you will be able to get a glimpse of our Christian community and be inspired to get to know God more.

Mid-week house groups are held at the church and in various homes in and around Southwell, where we teach, support and help each other.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Home groups

Home groups are a large feature of Church Life, and everyone should be able to find a group to suit them, with meetings spread throughout the week.

Community

Every Monday afternoon from 1.30pm we host Renew Southwell, which is a quiet shared space where it is ok not to be ok.  A warm welcome awaits anyone who wants to pop in for a chat, to bring along a hobby to work on, or just sit quetly with some company.  There is always a sympathetic ear available if you do want to talk, and free tea, coffee and biscuits are served throughout.

The Dwelling Place cafe is open on the first Friday monthly from 9.30am-2.30pm, serving up breakfast and light lunches as well as sweet treats and a variety of drinks.  The team are very friendly, and someone will always have the time to chat with you if you want to come alone, but it's also a lovely atmosphere in which to meet friends.  A Craft and Chatter group meets in the cafe from 10am-12noon, where people can bring along their own projects to work on or have a go at those provided, or just sit and enjoy the company.  This group are also meeting here outside cafe hours on the third Friday monthly, in the same location.  All are welcome, crafty or not.
