Help Preserve the Heritage of Southwell Baptist Church Building
We invite you to assist in preserving the historic Southwell Baptist Church Building, a cherished part of our community since 1808. Originally the first workhouse in Southwell, it has served as a Baptist chapel since 1837. Both the internal and external areas of the church are in urgent need of restoration. This building not only represents our town's rich history but also hosts numerous community events including : The Dwelling Place, Craft & Chatter, Renew along with The Flower Club, Sliiming World and Art classes.
We are in the process of applying for a grant and part of that process is to collect input from the residents and public within Southwell and surroounding villages
