The Coat of Hopes is a precious patchwork garment on a long-term pilgrimage through the UK, made by, and worn and walked by, more than 2000 people, for a distance of over 1000 miles, carrying their hopes in the face of climate and ecological breakdown.
To find out more visit https://www.coatofhopes.uk/. The Coat and pilgrims bearing it will be coming to Southwell on Thursday 5 September; welcomed to Evensong and staying overnight in Trebeck Hall. It would be good to offer hospitality, perhaps in the form of a 'bring and share'. Please contact hugh.middleton@nottingham.ac.uk if you are at all interested.
