Journey into Wholeness
From 2004, a small team of Christians from several churches in Southwell and Newark has rented a stall at the twice-yearly Mind, Body and Spirit Fairs at the Showground. In that time, numbers attending the Fairs have been growing, and the Team has developed the stall.
The purpose of the stall is to provide a Christian presence and witness in an environment which offers a level playing-field for all sorts of beliefs, therapies and practices. The stall offers free prayer for healing in the name of Christ. Vistors may also choose from the ‘Jesus Deck’ of cards, and members of the stall team will explain the gospel stories they illustrate. We welcome the visitors with our personal stories of faith in Jesus Christ, and an invitation to join us on the same Journey into Wholeness.
All the time the Fairs are open, Team members and other supporters gather to pray for each other at Winthorpe Road Baptist Church in Newark. We warmly welcome all who wish to help in this way, and are grateful to those who make a financial contribution to this mission outreach.
