Site accessibility

Making a site accessible to everyone is important. This website aims to ensure that it is accessible to all, and that it conforms to accessibility guidelines as set out by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative.

Text size

Users may change the text size on this site by using their brower’s built-in controls.

  • on the brower’s top menu bar, go to View > Text size
  • alternatively, rotate the mouse wheel while holding down the Control key

Site navigation using tabs

Users may navigate forwards through the links on each page by using the tab button to highlight active links (press shift key + tab to navigate in reverse order). Pressing Enter will then access the highlighted link.

The site supports the use of a number of access keys, which provide keyboard shortcuts and offer an alternative means of site navigation. They enable users with limited physical capabilities to navigate the site more easily. To use these keys:

  • in Mozilla, press Shift + Alt + the relevant access key
  • in Internet Explorer, press Alt + the access key, then press Enter
